**Role Overview**This is a Business Analyst (BA) role that sits within the Brokerage & Pricing team within the TP ICAP Technology division.
The BA will join an Agile team alongside engineers, working on the next generation of strategic back office applications, ensuring solutions provide maximum value to users.
The team\βs focus on Brokerage & Pricing technology is to optimise the management of brokerage data and calculations used to drive all broking activity in our Β£1billion+ revenue Global Broking organisation, and carrying out commercial analysis on that data to understand revenues and drive client commercial agreements.
The role requires a deep understanding of brokerage calculations and data, strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure.
Experience in the finance sector and a strong understanding of technical systems and processes are essential.
**Role Responsibilities*** Gain a comprehensive understanding of the current landscape, including technical aspects of legacy systems, to facilitate the transition to modern target systems.
* Collaborate with engineers and project managers to identify and remove obstacles, ensuring smooth progress in projects.
* Rapidly acquire knowledge about the systems and the products they support to provide accurate and relevant insights.
* Document business requirements and translate them into technical specifications for engineering activities.
* Obtain necessary approvals and sign-offs from stakeholders on documented requirements, ensuring alignment and clarity.
* Communicate effectively with stakeholders, demonstrating a deep understanding of systems and products to address their needs and concerns.
* Maintain a high level of attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and completeness in all project documentation and deliverables.
* Work under pressure, managing multiple tasks and deadlines without being distracted by complexity.

**Experience / Competences**Essential* Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst preferably in the finance sector, with a strong understanding of technical systems and processes.
* Demonstrated ability to navigate transformation environments, particularly in modernising and migrating from legacy systems.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand and address technical aspects of legacy systems.
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.
* Experience working with technical teams and stakeholders, facilitating effective collaboration and issue resolution.
* Ability to work under pressure, managing competing priorities and deadlines effectively.
* Attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and thoroughness in all aspects of work.
* Team player with a collaborative mindset, contributing to a positive and productive team environment.Desired* Proficiency in business analysis tools and methodologies.
* Proficiency in using JIRA, and Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
