Role Overview
Liquidnet is looking for a senior level FIX specialist to manage client connectivity to our fixed income trading systems. The team requires a motivated self-starter with strong project management and technical skills to support existing FIX and proprietary API connections and help drive the direction of client connectivity to all Liquidnet Fixed Income trading platforms. This is a hands-on role where the client will utilize their deep understanding of Fixed Income FIX workflows, strong database, Linux and Windows Server knowledge to manage all aspects of client connectivity.
This role will be predominantly based on the Fixed Income desk working directly with the sales people and interacting with technical teams across the Liquidnet membership. This is an exciting opportunity to join an expanding team focused on developing a strategically important Fixed Income business within Liquidnet. This will be a varied role involving working on a multitude of cross-platform market-leading technologies to support the running of our bespoke trading platform. The successful candidate will also contribute to front-to-back support duties on the Fixed Income platform which will include the daily support of the platform, configuring new members, managing front-end upgrade rollouts and testing of new functionality prior to release to members.
The successful candidate should possess a positive ‘can-do’ attitude and an intuitively high level of customer service in their approach. This will complement strong FIX, database (MYSQL), as well as Windows Administration and Networking troubleshooting skills (which may also involve firewall/routing issues).

Partner daily with Sales, Trading, and external clients on FIX‑related queries, incidents, and enhancements
Own and drive incident management for FIX issues, including detailed documentation, trend analysis, and preventative actions
Support release testing, FIX certification cycles, and major platform upgrades, including out‑of‑hours or weekend work where required
Act as a subject‑matter expert, mentoring junior analysts and improving FIX support processes and runbooks
