RealQ Summer Internship 2027, London
Looking to build your understanding of financial markets, technology and how a FinTech business operates? If so, we're recruiting into RealQ and this opportunity may be the right fit for you! We are offering talented students the opportunity to gain valuable insight and hands‑on experience across our business. RealQ brings together expertise in credit markets, data and technology, with the backing and scale of TP ICAP Group.
Our internship will start at the end of June 2027 and offers the opportunity to gain knowledge and experience. These positions are located in our 135 Bishopsgate offices, which can be found beside London Liverpool Street station.
The opportunity:
Our Summer Internship will give you the opportunity to gain unique insight into how a FinTech business operates across financial markets, data and technology, as well as a view into how the world's largest Inter-Dealer Broker functions. While day-to-day responsibilities will vary, the programme offers an incredible opportunity to build your foundational knowledge, professional skills and experiences to build a career in this space. During the programme, you will gain exposure to different areas of RealQ, including Sales / Sales Trading, Business Management, Product, Data and Technology, giving you a broad understanding of how the different parts of the business work together.

This is a 10-week structured programme in RealQ offering on-the-job learning, coaching and mentorship from Senior Management. You'll join alongside a cohort of individuals across a number of divisions within TP ICAP. Upon the completion of the programme, you will be assessed and considered for a full-time permanent appointment within a team you are best suited to.

What we require from you:
- You will be a student in either the penultimate or final year of studies, able to undertake a full time permanent position starting in either 2027 or 2028.
- The ability to demonstrate a clear interest for a career within the Financial Services industry.
- A passion for working with people, the ability to navigate ambiguity and someone who thrives in a position which requires a delivery mindset.
- Possess excellent communication and collaboration skills. Able to work effectively with a diverse team.
- Can demonstrate both analytical thinking and problem‑solving skills.
- An eye for detail.
- Comfortable with ambiguous, ever‑changing situations.
- Prior exposure to the Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Word).
