Your opportunity

  • We are ramping up a new brake shop in the UK.
  • You will build up the brake shop.
  • You will perform technical tests on aircraft brakes.
  • You will be responsible for the final release and certification of aircraft brakes.
  • You inspect and assemble all brake parts.
  • You expand your skills in group work.
  • You also take on other work in production when your colleagues need support.
  • You are in regular contact with the production manager in order to achieve the daily work targets.
  • You control every step - because safety is our top priority!
  • You identify efficiency problems and make your own suggestions for improvement.

We are looking for a team member who can identify with the following points:

  • You have successfully completed vocational training as a mechanic or similar and have at least two years of maintenance experience in the field of component maintenance in aviation.
  • You are at least 21 years old and hold an Aircraft Maintenance Licence (AML).
  • You can read and understand technical drawings and reconcile them with our customer requirements.
  • You have already worked with precision measuring tools, (dis)assembly as well as blasting and cleaning machines.
  • You are able to control and process computer-assisted operations.
  • You have a good command of written and spoken English.
  • You have good comprehension skills as well as a structured and independent way of working.
  • You are a good communicator and team player!
  • Reliability and safety are important to you.
