An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Solar PV professional to take on a dual-role position combining training delivery (50%) and installation compliance supervision (50%). This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about renewable energy, enjoys developing others, and takes pride in maintaining high technical and quality standards across installations. You will play a key role in training the next generation of installers, while also ensuring projects are delivered in line with industry regulations and best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Training & Course Delivery (50%)
- Deliver engaging Solar PV training courses (theory & practical) in a dedicated training centre
- Prepare lesson plans and course materials aligned with awarding body standards
- Assess learners through practical and written evaluations
- Maintain accurate learner records and performance data
- Support open days, course promotion, and learner engagement initiatives
- Installation Supervision & Compliance (50%)
Essential:
- Fully qualified electrician (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
- Proven experience in Solar PV installations
- Confident delivering training and presenting to groups
- Full UK work authorisation
Desirable:
- Experience in inspections, audits, or quality assurance
- Teaching or training qualification (AET, A1 Assessor) or willingness to obtain
- Experience mentoring or coaching engineers or apprentices
