Technical Manager (LV) Solar & BESS O&M Remote role with regular site visits Salary: £55,000 + £4,800 Car Allowance + 25 day holiday, private medical, pension, flexi-benefits and more! We’re looking for an experienced Technical Manager (LV) to support the transition from EPC to O&M across a growing portfolio of solar PV and BESS sites. This is a pivotal role within our operations team, focusing on safety, technical excellence, training, and compliance across our UK and international assets. 🔧 Key Responsibilities: * Act as LV Authorising Engineer for internal safety rules * NICEIC audits and compliance * Develop and maintain a robust Safe System of Work (SSoW) * Conduct HSE and technical site audits across O&M teams and contractors * Oversee training and development plans for field engineers * Support resolution of complex faults (e.g. inverter, LV issues, comms faults) * Ensure EICRs are completed to contractual and BS7671 standards * Oversee EPC to O&M handovers for new BESS/PV projects * Liaise with international partners, subcontractors, and manufacturers * Deliver clear client reporting and assist with technical documentation ✅ Requirements: * Gold Card Electrician or equivalent * 2391 (Inspection & Testing) essential; 2396 preferred * Health & Safety certs (SMSTS, IOSH or NEBOSH) desirable * Strong knowledge of BS7671 regulations * Experience with solar PV, BESS systems, and NICEIC audits * Excellent communication, IT skills, and a clean UK driving licence
