A growing renewable energy contractor is seeking qualified Electrical Engineers / Solar PV & EV Charging Engineers to join its expanding delivery team. This is an excellent opportunity for motivated electricians looking to work across a variety of renewable energy projects, with structured training, clear progression pathways and long-term career development within a fast-growing sector. Applicants must be flexible to work across multiple sectors and travel as required.
The Role
You will be responsible for the installation and maintenance of renewable energy systems including Solar PV, battery storage and EV charging infrastructure across domestic and commercial projects. Working as part of a professional and supportive team, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality installations while maintaining strong safety and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Install and maintain Solar PV systems, battery storage units and EV charging stations
- Ensure all works are completed in line with current regulations and industry standards
- Maintain compliance with Health & Safety legislation and best practice
- Communicate effectively with clients, site teams and management
- Manage time efficiently to meet project deadlines
- Maintain accurate records of works completed and materials used
- Ensure all certifications and documentation are kept up to date
- Work collaboratively within a team environment while also self-managing workload
Essential Qualifications
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrotechnical Installation (or equivalent)
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671)
- Valid ECS Card
- Full UK Driving Licence
