A growing and forward-thinking renewable energy contractor is seeking an experienced Solar PV Contracts Manager to lead and deliver high-impact projects from pre-construction through to completion. This role offers the opportunity to manage a diverse portfolio of projects including large multi-plot housing developments, retrofit commercial installations and large-scale energy efficiency upgrades. You will play a key role in driving quality, commercial performance and sustainable delivery across multiple schemes.
The Role
Reporting into senior leadership, the Contracts Manager will take full ownership of project delivery from contract handover to post-commissioning, ensuring works are delivered safely, on time and within budget. You will act as the central coordination point between clients, commercial teams, design teams and operational delivery teams to ensure seamless execution across multiple live projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee full contract management from project handover through to completion and aftercare
- Ensure projects are delivered in line with programme, budget and contractual obligations
- Act as the primary coordination point between client, Quantity Surveyors, Project Managers, design teams and delivery teams
- Lead material procurement planning and revenue forecasting
- Manage labour, plant, materials and subcontractors effectively
- Maintain strong working relationships with clients and site managers, providing regular progress updates
- Ensure all pre-installation and post-completion documentation (DNO applications, RAMS, O&M manuals, certifications) is accurate and submitted on time
- Identify and mitigate project risks proactively
- Oversee installation teams, ensuring safe, efficient and high-quality delivery
- Promote a positive team culture and maintain strong communication across stakeholders
About You
We are seeking a commercially aware and technically competent Contracts Manager with strong experience in Solar PV or wider renewable energy projects.

- Proven experience in Contracts Management
- Previous experience within Solar PV / renewable energy
- Strong commercial and contractual understanding
- Experience managing budgets, programmes, teams and technical delivery
- Excellent organisational and multi-project management skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capability
- Confident communicator with strong stakeholder management skills
