A leading organisation in the renewable energy sector is seeking a skilled Electrician to support the operation and maintenance of Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) and associated technologies across Scotland. As a Field Service Technician, you will play a key role in maintaining asset performance, ensuring maximum availability, and responding to faults across multiple sites. This is a field-based role covering Inverness, Aberdeen, and Dundee.
Key Responsibilities- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs on Industrial BESS sites
- Diagnose faults and implement effective solutions to minimise downtime
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with HSEQ standards
- Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicle in good condition
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, subcontractors, and field management teams
- Identify and report safety, quality, and performance issues
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations
