An established organisation within the renewable energy sector is seeking an experienced Health & Safety Manager to support operations across wind and solar projects. This role plays a key part in ensuring safe, compliant, and sustainable practices throughout the full project lifecycle, from development through to operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and improve Health, Safety & Environmental systems, ensuring compliance with UK regulations and industry best practice
- Conduct audits, site inspections, and incident investigations, driving corrective actions and continuous improvement
- Support project teams and subcontractors in implementing safety procedures, risk assessments, and control measures
- Deliver training, reporting, and stakeholder engagement to promote a strong safety culture across all sites
Requirements
- NEBOSH National General Certificate (essential); Construction Certificate or equivalent desirable
- Proven Health & Safety experience within renewable energy, ideally wind and/or solar projects
- Strong knowledge of UK HSE legislation, including CDM regulations
- Excellent communication, organisation, and stakeholder management skills with a proactive, solutions-focused approach
