About the Role: This is a field-based position covering utility-scale, ground-mounted solar PV plants in the Dublin area. The purpose of the role is to ensure sites operate safely, efficiently and to the highest performance standards while meeting operational budgets. You will be part of a highly skilled team of renewable energy professionals, with strong support for career progression.
Job Description: As an Electrician, you will be responsible for carrying out planned and reactive operations and maintenance activities on solar PV and battery storage assets. You will play a key role in maintaining safety, quality and performance across multiple sites, while keeping accurate records and liaising closely with the wider O&M team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Adhere to all health and safety requirements at all times and actively contribute to improving safety standards across sites.
- Undertake planned inspections and preventative maintenance in line with legal, technical, manufacturer and contractual requirements.
- Carry out inspection, testing and maintenance of plant and equipment.
- Keeping accurate maintenance records and compiling reports.
Requirements:
- Fully Qualified Electrician in Ireland (QQI Level 6 or equivalent).
- Strong commitment to safe working practices.
- Industrial and/or commercial electrical experience preferred.
- Renewable energy, solar or BESS experience is advantageous but not essential – full training is provided.
