An established renewable energy business is seeking a Health & Safety Manager to support its UK portfolio across onshore wind and solar PV. This role spans the full project lifecycle from development through construction to operations ensuring compliance, continuous improvement, and a strong safety culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and improve the Integrated Management System (IMS) and HSE policies
- Monitor, audit, and ensure compliance with HSE regulations and best practice
- Support project teams and subcontractors with IMS implementation
- Conduct site safety inspections and audits
- Lead incident investigations and track corrective actions
- Develop and review risk assessments and control measures
- Deliver HSE training and support stakeholder reporting
- Track, analyse, and report HSE performance metrics
- Ensure compliance with ISO standards and CDM 2015
Requirements
- NEBOSH National General Certificate
- Renewable energy experience
- Strong knowledge of CDM 2015 and construction/operations environments
- IOSH membership (CMIOSH desirable)
- Excellent communication, organisation, and stakeholder management skills
- Full UK driving licence
