Job Description
Lead complex mechanical design projects in critical sectors like healthcare and education while taking control of your time with hybrid working and top-tier benefits.
With three days in the office and two from home, you can focus on delivering advanced HVAC solutions for challenging environments like hospitals and laboratories. These are the kind of projects that push your expertise and keep you at the cutting edge of building services design.
When you're on-site, youve got everything you need close at hand: a private coffee shop, showers and secure bike storage. Plus, with easy transport links, getting there won't be a headache.
Youll also benefit from a strong management system that supports your development, with clear paths to senior leadership and ongoing training to keep your skills sharp.
And the extras? A 6% pension, life insurance, private healthcare, gym membership and an electric car scheme. All designed to give you peace of mind and a better work-life balance.
What you'll do
Youll take ownership of mechanical design projects, shaping them with your ideas and expertise. From concept to construction, youll run projects independently, making sure they meet the highest standards.
Passing on your knowledge is just as important, so youll mentor junior and intermediate engineers, helping to develop the next generation of talent. Youll also stay close to the action by attending client briefings, design team meetings and overseeing site progress.
What you'll need
- At least five years of experience in building services design
- The confidence to run projects independently and make key decisions
- Strong communication skills to liaise with clients and teams
