You’ll get training on the latest design software to keep your skills sharp and stay ahead of industry trends. You’ll also have the chance to mentor junior engineers, passing on your knowledge and shaping the next generation. And with long-term projects lined up with major clients, you’ll have job security and a steady stream of interesting work. What you’ll do Take charge of designing heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems for residential buildings, covering RIBA stages 3 to 5. You’ll specify pipes, ducts and equipment, making sure everything is efficient and up to standard. You’ll also use advanced software to calculate and optimise your designs, giving you hands-on experience with the tools that matter most. What you’ll need * At least 5 years’ experience in building services design, so you’re confident in creating mechanical systems that work in the real world * Strong commercial awareness, allowing you to balance performance with cost and deliver value to clients * A desire to mentor others, as you’ll be helping junior engineers develop their skills About the company An M&E contractor offering design services, this business will give you the support and tools you need to keep progressing.
