Youll have the freedom to plan your own schedule, giving you control over your time. Youll work across a variety of sectors, including healthcare, industrial, leisure and defence, so youll never get stuck doing the same thing twice.
Each site will bring new challenges, allowing you to build a broad range of experience. Youll be involved with different stakeholders on each project, which will help you develop your communication and negotiation skills.
And with hybrid working, youll split your time between the office, site visits and home, giving you the flexibility to work in the way that suits you best.
What you\’ll do
Carry out M&E condition surveys, checking the mechanical and electrical plant to ensure it meets the original brief. Youll review the programme of works and agreed specifications, giving you a chance to influence the quality of the projects.
Attend on-site meetings with design engineers and project managers, where your input will shape the ongoing design and installation work. Youll be snagging work to make sure it meets the required standards, which will give you a strong sense of ownership.

- Experience in building services, with a good understanding of site processes
- Knowledge of mechanical and electrical services, so you can confidently assess quality and compliance
- A driving licence, as youll be visiting sites across the North West
