This medium sized design practice are well versed in developing young engineering students into well rounded engineers. They have trained two fresh graduates recently with huge success which is why they are looking for more. They know how to train and develop people and have devised a bespoke matrix training programme to assist with learning. You would join a team of 24 technical staff working in smart offices with free parking.

Responsibilities
  • Learning how to calculate electrical design solutions for projects within the built environment.
  • Help to design electrical systems enabling schools, colleges, offices and healthcare facilities to work efficiently.
  • Assisting with cable calculations, small power lighting designs and producing AutoCad drawings.
  • Working with senior engineers, visiting buildings, undertaking surveys and listening to client’s visions for their idea facility.
Qualifications
  • Some formal electrical qualifications.
  • An interest in building designs.
  • Good software skills.
