You will guide mechanical building services projects from concept to completion, with the freedom to influence design decisions and mentor the next generation of engineers. You will be part of a well-structured team where you will get support from all levels. Your workload will be regularly analysed to give you exposure to new duties and help you learn even more. You will work on a wide range of exciting projects in healthcare, high-tech industrial and high-rise sectors, giving you the chance to develop specialist skills and build a strong portfolio.

On top of that, you will get a £6,500 car allowance, a 5% contributory pension, a laptop, phone and agile working.

What you will do:

  • Lead projects and manage a team completing mechanical building services projects.
  • Meet with clients to agree the brief and oversee the concept and detailed design of mechanical systems.
  • Organise and resource a team into a workstream to carry out design duties and liaise with REVIT and CAD departments to ensure accurate drawing production.
  • Work closely with architects and sub-contractors to ensure designs are installed efficiently.

What you will need:

  • 10 years or more mechanical building services design experience.
  • Good man management skills and the ability to lead and inspire a team.
  • Ambition to become a future Associate Director, with a clear path to achieve this.
