We are seeking an experienced President / Managing Director to lead our Singapore subsidiary. This role has full responsibility for business operations and corporate governance in Singapore and requires regular reporting and approval coordination with Japan Headquarters.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee all business operations of the Singapore subsidiary
- Develop and execute business strategy, annual plans, and budgets
- Manage P&L performance, cash flow, and overall financial results
- Lead and develop the local management team and staff
- Prepare management reports, proposals, and approval documents for Japan HQ in Japanese
- Coordinate closely with Japan HQ and Regional Headquarters (RHQ)
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, internal controls, and group policies
- Build and maintain relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders
Requirements
- Proven experience as a President, Managing Director, or senior business leader
- Experience working in overseas subsidiaries or multinational companies
- Strong P&L management and business planning experience
- Business-level or higher Japanese language proficiency (mandatory)
- Business-level English proficiency
- Strong leadership, decision-making, and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience reporting to Japan HQ
- Experience managing operations in Singapore or ASEAN
- Experience in Japanese companies or Japanese corporate groups
- MBA, CPA, or equivalent professional qualification
