We are looking for a PLM & CAD architect and administrator (m/f/d) to be part of our IT and works motorsport team in Cologne, Germany. In this role within the IT department, you will be maintaining a range of engineering solutions, mainly used by our design, production and procurement teams with the opportunity to work up to 40% remotely.

Your tasks:

  • Manage the installation, configuration, maintenance, and support of Teamcenter PLM and CATIA V5 software at the server and client level in production and non-production environments.
  • Collaborate with the business subject matter experts, business analysts, functional leads, and technical leads from other disciplines to architect and design Teamcenter solutions
  • Develop, test, document and deploy system updates and upgrades deployment packages for the Teamcenter environment
  • Manage and coordinate Teamcenter and CATIA user issues and drive them to resolution
  • Multi-task across ongoing projects and daily duties of varying priorities as required
  • Be involved in the whole environment lifecycle: Requirement collection, planning, development, automated testing, documentation, deployment and operations.

The successful candidate will:

  • Have a Bachelor degree or equivalent in computer science or engineering.
  • Have a minimum of 5 years of experience in Siemens Teamcenter Engineering environment
  • Have deep experience with Teamcenter installation and configuration
  • Be able to write and speak professional English, additional German language skills are an advantage.
  • Have experience with one or more of the following would be an advantage: Teamcenter Customization, Teamcenter Active Workspace, Siemens Active Integration (SAP), VB Macro scripting, Client Software deployment
