We are recruiting for a Parts Advisor to join our Toyota Dealership in Nuneaton. The hours of work are Monday to Friday, rotating weekly on either 8am-5pm or 8am-6pm as well as working Saturday mornings on a rota basis. Salary includes a basic salary plus a monthly bonus, with an OTE of £33,000.
A Parts Advisor is a key role interacting with all areas of the business including sales, service and our customers. You will be directly involved in supplying Toyota parts to the general public, trade customers and our own workshops. This role would perfectly suit a highly motivated individual with experience and a passion for providing exceptional levels of customer service for one of the world’s leading car brands. Role and ResponsibilitiesThe work is diverse, and you’ll be working both behind the scenes receiving deliveries and at the front desk serving our customers. You will be responsible for:
- Pre-picking parts for the workshop job cards
- Picking parts for customer orders
- Checking availability of stock from various enquiries
- Developing customer relationships through providing good product knowledge and creating an effective first impression
- Ensuring consumables and service parts are regularly replenished
- Handling warranty claims processing (relating to parts issues) and completing all relevant administration promptly and accurately (including customer records and invoicing)
- Developing knowledge of our premium Toyota products to understand the purpose of vehicle parts and how they function
We are looking for someone with previous experience working as a parts advisor within a dealership or you will have gained motor factor knowledge in a similar role with another franchise or specialist parts company. However, if you have a good understanding of cars & the ability to learn, we are happy to train the right candidate. You should be proactive, sales driven and maintain an outstanding level of customer service. You must have excellent communication & organisational skills while working well in a fast-paced environment. A professional individual who is able to work towards tight deadlines.
