We are looking for an enthusiastic apprentice to learn the skills needed to develop a career as a forklift engineer. This 3‑year apprenticeship combines college learning and workplace training and will give you the opportunity to work for the world’s No 1 forklift truck and materials handling manufacturer.
Responsibilities
- Shadow and work with a mentor to understand materials handling equipment.
- Learn how trucks work and how to fix them.
- Attend block weeks at college for classroom and workshop learning.
- Complete online learning and development with the learning provider.
Qualifications & Profile
- GCSE grades A–C or 4–9 in English, Maths and either Science/Engineering or IT (or equivalent).
- Interest in mechanical engineering/engineering.
- Good communication skills.
- Willingness to take instruction and develop.
- Basic computer skills.
- Aged 18 or over (health, safety and customer site access).
