The IT Manufacturing Supply Chain Digitalisation Intern supports Toyota Motor Europe in preparing and delivering data products, improving digital processes, and enabling smarter decision‑making across European manufacturing plants. The role involves working with modern data tools (Microsoft Power Platform, Snowflake, Dataiku, Collibra), understanding manufacturing processes, and collaborating in an international environment.

Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver access to corporate system data by provisioning Data Products.
  • Empower business partners to adopt and leverage modern data solutions for smarter decision‑making and analytics.
  • Apply expertise in Microsoft products – with training provided as needed – to deliver effective solutions for business customers.
  • Develop skills in leading technologies, including advanced analytics with Dataiku, cloud data warehousing using Snowflake, and data governance and sharing through Collibra.
  • Gain insight into the Toyota Production System by understanding car manufacturing processes and the supporting IT systems.
  • Work mainly in Derby (UK) with possible business travel within Europe.

Qualifications

  • Students with an engineering or IT background, fluent in English, and eligible to work in the EEA or Switzerland.
  • Interest in the automotive sector and software development projects.
  • Strong planning capabilities and a structured way of working.
  • Proactive, team‑player who enjoys working in an international environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; familiar with Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, SharePoint, Copilot.
  • Available to start on September 7 2026 for an 11‑month internship.
