We are looking for a Forklift Thorough Examination Engineer (Thorough Examination Technician) to support After Sales operations and our customers by carrying out examinations on material handling equipment. About the role:
The role involves providing support for after sales operations and our customers by carrying out examinations on material handling equipment. On a day-to-day basis this is what you would be doing:
- Carry out Thorough Examinations on Material Handling Equipment to approved standards/compliance.
- Determine whether equipment is safe to operate / declare any unsafe equipment immediately.
- Recognise and record any additional work required, following an examination.
- Prepare quotations based on examinations and inspections.
- Plan your own workload.
- Accurately complete examination records.
We are looking for somebody who has experience in the Material Handling Industry, electrical experience, mechanical skills and is familiar with the current national regulations in the field of safety in the workplace, to perform the inspections safely. Administration skills are necessary but not essential as full training will be given.
