We are looking for a Workshop Engineer to work within our Operations department to maintain and service a wide range of materials handling equipment. This role comes with a competitive salary, an attractive company pension, and the opportunity to work for a great company.
About The Role
The role involves providing the assembly, maintenance, repair, and service of a wide range of material handling equipment including forklift trucks and warehouse equipment. On a day-to-day basis this is what you would be doing:
- Building, servicing and maintaining used demo and short-term rental trucks.
- Ensuring trucks meet safety standard requirements.
- Completing and updating work sheets.
We are looking for somebody who has mechanical and electrical engineering experience working with industrial equipment or vehicles. Material handling experience would be beneficial, but training will be given.
