Entry Level Data Analyst Apprentice (Level 4)

We are looking for an entry-level Data Analyst Apprentice to join our team and work towards a Level 4 qualification. The primary objective of the role is to collect and interpret key data in order to produce reports and performance dashboards for key business areas – HR, Fleet, and Safety teams. As part of the apprenticeship, you will develop your knowledge of statistical analysis and data visualization tools.

This is an entry-level role. We are seeking someone who is enthusiastic, eager to learn, and interested in starting a career in data analysis. The role is based at our centre in Castleford, West Yorkshire.

This is a temporary position with an 18-month contract.

About The Role

1. Produce regular and ad hoc reports as identified by business leaders.
2. Interpret data and use statistical analysis to identify trends.
3. Utilize tools and techniques to visualize data in understandable formats, such as diagrams and graphs.
4. Maintain, update, and improve management reporting systems.
5. Support the administration teams.

Who are we looking for?

This is an entry-level role. Here is a quick checklist of the skills we are looking for:

• 5 GCSEs including English and Maths at grades A* – C or 4 – 9.
• Level 3 qualification in a related subject, e.g., Maths, would be advantageous.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Good organization, planning, and time management skills.
• Knowledge of MS Excel.
