We are looking for a People Support Assistant – Onboarding to be part of our People Support and Development team in our Castleford Business Centre. You will provide high quality support for the People Support team with a focus on recruitment and onboarding.
About The Role
The role will involve managing the recruitment process from start to finish with a focus on recruiting the best people to join the company in a timely manner and within budget.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Support the People Development team with the facilitation of face to face and online learning.
- Create new and audit current job adverts and job descriptions.
- Search for potential candidates and make contact to promote vacancies.
- Set up interviews and follow up with feedback.
- Develop and update reports related to HR and recruitment.
- Provide support for the functional HR team including HR calls, welfare calls, meetings and processing.
- Support our Fleet team with basic administration tasks.
Required Skills
- Good organisational skills and time management skills.
- Competency on Microsoft Packages including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of LinkedIn and social media.
- Ability to work well with varied tasks and under pressure.
- Professional telephone manner.
