We are looking for a Forklift Service Engineer (Service Technician) to work within our After Sales department to maintain, repair, service, and modify the company's range of products. About The Role

The role involves servicing, maintaining, and repairing forklift trucks and other material handling equipment. Daily responsibilities include:

  • Servicing, maintaining, overhauling, fault finding, and resolving faults on company products.
  • Responding to breakdowns.
  • Providing local after-sales support to customers.
  • Promptly dealing with customer inquiries, problems, or complaints.
  • Managing vehicle stock and deliveries.
  • Achieving set targets.

Candidate Profile

We are seeking someone with experience as a forklift engineer, plant fitter, plant technician, industrial equipment technician, or similar roles. Essential skills include:

  • Experience in mechanical engineering.
  • Basic electrical knowledge (beneficial).
  • Effective planning and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to build good rapport with customers.
  • Full UK driving license.
