About The Role

On a day-to-day basis this is what you would be doing:

  • Producing a variety of financial, commercial and operational analytical reports
  • Supporting the Business Control team in both operational and financial decisions
  • Identifying opportunities to make effective data-led decisions across the business
  • Working on monthly variance accounts and variance analysis
  • Providing month-end support to the business - including calculating bonus and overtime payments

We are looking for somebody who has experience in an accounting, statistical analysis or a planning role to provide analytical, commercial and financial support also to support the cross divisional objectives of the Business Control team.

  • Accounting Qualification
  • Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills
  • Good negotiation skills
  • Excellent working knowledge of Excel and other Microsoft programmes including PowerBI, PowerPivot and SQL knowledge
  • Good commercial awareness
  • Effective communicator
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Experience in building and maintaining effective trust‑based relationships with multiple stakeholders
