We are looking for a CAM Programmer (m/f/d) to be part of our works motorsport team in Cologne, Germany. Your responsibilities:
- Develop manufacturing strategies and production processes using the CAM software Tebis
- Design fixtures and auxiliary tools for efficient CNC machining in the composite sector
- Maintain technology databases
- Program CNC machines with Heidenhain and Siemens controls
- Ensure on-time programming of work orders in the composite CNC area
- Actively participate in projects together with adjacent departments to ensure technical feasibility as well as the most efficient and cost-effective production of the affected components
- Ensure the availability of CNC programs for components in production orders, coordinate existing programs in case of changes/modifications, and update the SAP system daily
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of methods, production times, and quality in CAM programming and CNC (Composite)
Your profile:
- Completed training as a cutting machine operator specializing in milling technology
- Alternatively, professional experience in a comparable position
- Several years of experience as a CAD/CAM programmer
- Experience with Tebis CAD/CAM software is desirable
- Experience in designing production aids and tools for manufacturing carbon fibre composite components is an advantage
- Independent, highly reliable, structured, and goal-oriented working style
- Very good command of English, both written and spoken
