Overview
We are looking for an individual to join our SMR Technical Specialist team. This would be a great opportunity for an individual from an automotive or engineering background, looking to move into an office based role. The role in a nutshell: To pro-actively manage and maintain the SMR price check and term settings for the maintained fleet vehicles within KINTO as well as providing support with minor authorisations and routine reporting tasks associated to the technical team and SMR.
A bit about the ‘Department’: Operations oversee the in-life care of our customers\\\’ vehicles ensuring they are serviced and maintained, that all administration is carried out, and that they are correctly disposed of at end of contract.
Responsibilities
- You will be able to Manage all Price check and auto approval rules within EPYX/1-Link related to SMR for all OEM\’s
- You will support with minor authorisations from approval requests within our approved repair network on car, LCV & HGV
- You will gain understanding of the overall working of the Operations department at a high level and have selective Cross training applicable to your current role and operations
- You will be providing support to the team by completing routine SMR reporting essential for the role and the team
- Support with all KPI and SLA related functions within the team (email/calls)
Stretch goals / Development
- Occasionally provide specialist support by attending meetings as a subject matter expert related to SMR rules sets and be able to create basic PP slides related to this topic
- Involvement with QCC\’s
- Be able to Demonstrate TPS/TWOW within the workplace. (Muri, Muda & Mura)
- Conduct a 5-Why – Problem solving
- Provide support to the Team leader related to the team\\\’s daily management board
- Collaborate with OEM\’s to build aftersales relationships
