The Role
Lead, oversee and ensure the successful delivery of major investment in multi‑year transformation across TFS UK and in accordance with TFS UK's Business Strategy.
This includes leading cross‑functional teams to complete complex initiatives that drive our organisational goals and deliver business value.
The role will need to actively drive day‑to‑day delivery, providing clear leadership and delivery discipline in a complex, regulated environment.
The scope of the Transformation Programme includes change in culture, operating model, business process, technology and data.
- What you’ll be doing
- Programme Strategy & Planning
- Define & implement Programme Strategies & Principles aligned to achieving the Business Strategy, Goals & Objectives
- Develop the overall Programme Approach
- Define the overall Programme Scope, Objectives, Controls, Deliverables & Timeframes
- Stakeholder Management
- Engage with the Executives to understand the Business Strategy & translate it to Programme Goals & Objectives that can be understood by all
- Establish Stakeholder engagement to ensure continuous alignment with TFS UK’s Business Strategy and Vision
- Implement effective & efficient Stakeholder Engagement, Communication Plans, including Decision‑making Protocols
- Change Management
- Embed comprehensive Change Management practices across the Programme
- Direct & drive Project Managers, and their workstream teams, towards the achievement of the defined Programme ambitions
- Ownership and accountability for the mitigation of the Programme’s Risks & Issues
- Always knows the financial status of the Programme
- Adherence to internal & external Controls, e. g. Info Sec, Regulatory, etc.
- People & Culture
- Foster a collaborative, high performance culture across the Programme
- Identify the skills and competencies required by each of the Projects/Workstreams and ensure they are fulfilled
- Vendors/Partners
- Ensure relationships are well defined and accountability exists on all sides
- Oversee all vendor/partner relationships, progressing the Programme as one
Requirements
- Key Experience & Skills
- Experience of delivering similar Programmes in a highly and continuously changing Regulatory environment
- Strong track record of delivering highly complex Programmes/Projects successfully, particularly in the system modernisation, data transformation and integration space
- Implemented Cultural Change Programmes
- Excellent Communicator in all forms at all levels
- Proven ability to build high performing teams
- Good Commercial acumen
- Established a PMO with robust Financial Management, including Budgeting, and Reporting capabilities
- Financial Services and/or Motor Finance Industry experience preferable
- Strong knowledge of/qualifications in Programme and/or Project Management methodologies, governance, risk, change control and benefits realisation
