The role in a nutshell: Supporting the Product & Channel team, this role is key to ensure the right level of governance is applied to all TFS UK finance products (end-to-end management of finance products, incl. designing, developing, introducing new products, and reviewing the performance of existing products to make sure they are performing as intended, delivering good outcomes for our customers and value to TFS UK). In parallel, you will look after the integration of finance products to existing and new digital channels, supporting the delivery of TFS UK omnichannel sales strategy.
About the Department: The Marketing, Retention and Product department is responsible for creating, promoting customer finance offers that help support the sale of new and used cars, retain existing customers and ensure TFS UK Finance products are in line with FCA and Consumer Duty expectations across four Brands (Toyota, Lexus, Redline and Mazda). The department is structured into the Marketing Programmes and Communications team, the Retention team and the Product and Channel team. The responsibilities of the Marketing Programmes team include launching quarterly marketing programmes for retail and fleet, managing network programme communications and completing campaign performance reporting. The Retention team looks after retention strategy and end of contract support to our customers. The Product and Channel team helps deliver an expanded range of products, services and sales channels, with a particular focus on improving digital coverage and customer journey, as well as increasing the governance around our products from an FCA and consumer duty perspective.
Day to Day Duties:
- Finance Products: Managing short-medium term action plans and robust governance relating to the introduction of new products, services or sales channels, including coordination between project stakeholders. Taking on longer term strategic projects from start to finish, acting as project manager and key contact for the day-to-day management of these. Supporting the Corporate Support Team in all Consumer Duty actions. Further to the above, taking the lead in the Products & Services workstream of Consumer Duty, including but not limited to: Product Reviews, Target Market Statements, Product Approvals, Amendments, Withdrawals, Closures. Creating and maintaining resources to support the Product team and wider business areas with key rules and parameters of our products. Reviewing the on-going performance of existing products against various criteria including commercial results, customer experience and regulatory compliance. Proposing changes to our product strategy where gaps or opportunities are identified. Creating, analysing and presenting management Information (e.g. performance data) to provide management oversight and to inform decision making.
- Digital Products: Contribute to the channel diversification and third-party integration roadmap (e.g. Autotrader). Working with our network partners and external vendors to maximise digital coverage and representation of our products on 3rd party marketplace platforms. Oversee the onboarding and integration of third party-platforms as required for all brands (Toyota, Lexus, Redline, Mazda). Exploration and development of TFS performance monitoring and optimisation of current integrations. Contributing to the on-going development of our digital customer communication channels / journeys (e.g. Online Journeys, Calculators).

Requirements Key Experience & Skills:
- Basic understanding of the core Marketing principles (Product, Place, Price, Promotion).
- Thorough understanding and experience of the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) regulations, with a particular focus on Consumer Duty and Governance.
- Good understanding of automotive financial products (e.g. Personal Contract-Purchase, Hire Purchase, Lease Purchase).
- Experience bringing new digital products / services to market and managing throughout their lifecycle.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including confidence in presenting.
- Project & Stakeholders management experience.
- Technical knowledge and ability to translate to stakeholders with varying levels of understanding.
