Commencement Date: 18 January 2027

Salary Range: $86,600 - $124,725 per annum (pro rata), + Super + Middle Leader Allowance (Tier 2C = $16,280)

These are full‑time, permanent teaching roles with a fixed‑term appointment to the Curriculum Leader position concluding in 2030.

Role Overview

The Curriculum Leader supports the mission of Mary Help of Christians Catholic College through leadership of the learning and teaching programme by ensuring appropriate pedagogies are developed and implemented at all levels. The successful applicant will demonstrate leadership in teaching and learning, human leadership, and strategic leadership.

The Pastoral Leader is responsible for a designated year level cohort within the broader structure of the college. The role holder supports the mission of the College through the leadership and implementation of pastoral care and wellbeing programmes and processes for the designated year level. In addition to fulfilling their teaching role, the Pastoral Leader plays a crucial role in establishing routines, expectations, and wellbeing supports, and works with other middle leaders, teachers and families to ensure all students in the designated year level are supported to thrive at school.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Registered teacher with the Queensland College of Teachers.
  • Extensive classroom experience in the Arts.
  • Deep understanding of the Australian Curriculum and QCAA requirements.
  • Proven ability to lead and mentor, build collaborative teams, and translate data into meaningful improvement.
