We are looking for a hard-working, passionate, and upbeat person to join our fantastic team at Town Square Spaces. TownSq are a B-Corp who support freelancers, new company directors and aspiring entrepreneurs in starting-up, raising investment and growing their businesses. We do this through providing spaces, business support and admin support.

TownSq are working in collaboration with the Royal Borough of Kingston to create a beautiful collaborative, flexible and innovative workspace right on the riverside. The role of the Hub Manager will be to build a strong entrepreneurial community within the space which can integrate into the wider ecosystem, bringing benefit to people, places and communities across Kingston and beyond.
We are looking for someone who is confident and competent in running the business from top to bottom, with entrepreneurial flair and a drive to create something very special.
The main responsibilities of the role are:
- Managing the team and supporting the wider business
- Working towards sales targets and report delivery for space occupancy and membership
- Raising the profile of both TownSq and the space alongside the marketing strategy
- Organising business focussed events
- Developing and maintaining stakeholder networks
- Working effectively within operational budgets
- Day to day running of a commercial building
You will be obsessed with creating inclusive, welcoming and comfortable spaces for people to gather, work and collaborate.
You will have a keen eye for detail, a nose for customer service and be a natural host.
You will also get excited about creating and implementing ideas and campaigns to get people involved with the space.
You will be the sort of person who is first in the space to get the coffee on and last out offering umbrellas out if it\'s raining.
You might not know it all yet, but you will have a thirst for knowledge and be open to learning all about how to support early-stage entrepreneurs to grow and develop, and the international trends across the global start-up world.
There is no traditional career path to this role, and no pre-requisite qualifications – you may have been involved in enterprise support, you may have trained in hospitality, you may be an estate agent, or a lawyer who fancies a change - attitude is key for us.
If you are willing to think as an entrepreneur thinks, you are already at an advantage. Having experience in the commercial operations of a building and a good understanding of Kingston and the surrounding areas would be advantageous but not essential.
The role is a full time positions and the salary for this post will be between £34,000 – £36,000 with a monthly target bonus.
