Townhead Surgery is a rural Practice set in the centre of the Yorkshire Dales town of Settle. We are a 12 doctor practice, with a list size of 9,500 patients. We are a Dispensing and GP training practice.
Main duties of the job
- Deliver high quality, precise and timely record keeping, contributing to QOF and current Local Enhanced Schemes.
- Undertake 2 clinics per day, consisting of 12 patients per clinic, (with 15 mins F2F appointment time).
- Act as Duty Doctor on a pro rata basis, dealing with urgent walk-ins, processing urgent results and any urgent admin queries.
- Manage admin and tasks and share of prescription signing.
- Partake in Home Visits on pro rata share.
- Liaise with external agencies eg Collaborative Care Teams to help provide a high level of patient community care.
