Lifting Equipment Engineer £30,000 – £40,000 per annum Newcastle Full Time, Permanent Are you looking for a new Engineering role in Newcastle We\’re a Family run lifting equipment engineering company with branches across the North of England. We’re looking for a Lifting Equipment Engineer to join our team as part of our exciting growth plans. Reporting into the Branch Manager, the Engineer will be responsible for carrying out all duties expected from a Lifting Equipment Engineer: Inspection of lifting equipment as per LOLER guidelines. Load test of equipment where required. Reporting on success / failure of the work carried out (using tablet / laptop). Communicate work carried out with the client. Repair or installation of lifting equipment on the client’s site. Other lifting equipment duties – MPI, wire socketing, fitting crane wires etc (training provided where necessary). We are looking for someone who has the ability to communicate effectively, can remain calm under pressure, and has a strong desire to succeed. This is a role which requires flexibility as there are extensive overtime opportunities to cover and service the client’s needs.
