Summary
The Town of Shrewsbury, a full-service local government driven by high performance and creativity, seeks a dependable team player to join the Water & Sewer Division of the Department of Public Works! The Town will assist the successful candidate in obtaining the licensure required for the Water Technician position.
The Water and Sewer Division is a municipally owned utility for the residents of Shrewsbury. Our water supply is derived from a series of gravel-packed wells pumping over 4 million gallons of water a day. The Division supplies over 11,000 service connections through over 200 miles of water main to approximately 33,000 people. The Division operates and maintains approximately 40 pump stations for over 165 miles of sewer main. The successful candidate will perform routine but responsible manual work in the construction, maintenance, and repair of facilities for water supply and distribution systems and sewage collection systems.

Work Hours & Benefits
The hours are conveniently 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM Monday through Friday, with overtime as required. A daily 30-minute lunch as agreed upon by the Water & Sewer Crew Leader.
