Initial Union Hiring Rate: $26.83
- Job Title: Highway Laborer
Minimal License: MA Class D Driver’s License.
Hourly Pay Range Without All Required Licenses: $25.49 – $31.02
Initial Union Hiring Rate: $25.49

This Special Equipment Operator role involves operating machinery like loaders, backhoes, and street sweepers to maintain and improve town infrastructure. Responsibilities include road repairs, trench excavation, drainage installation, and snow removal. You\’ll also interact with residents and contractors to address roadway concerns.

Work Hours & Benefits
The hours are conveniently 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM Monday through Friday, with overtime as required. A daily 30-minute lunch as agreed upon by the Highway Supervisor.
