Seasonal Groundskeeper(s) positions are available in the Parks and Recreation Department(s) Parks Maintenance Division.
Hours:
- 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM
- Shennecossett Golf Course: 5:30 AM to 1:30 PM
Seasonal, 40 Hrs/Week
STARTING RATE (Current): $20.50/hour
POSITION RANGE (Current): $20.50 – $22.25/hour
STARTING RATE (Effective 7/1/26): $21.00/hour
POSITION RANGE (Effective 7/1/26): $21.00 – $22.75/hour
Position Overview & Required Qualifications:
- Ability to use or learn to use manual tools, power tools, and equipment.
- Experience in maintenance, landscaping, and groundskeeping preferred.
- Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions.
- Must possess and maintain a valid Motor Vehicle Operator’s License.
