The Role: We are searching for an organised and dedicated Back of House Manager to oversee the kitchen and ensure that our operations run smoothly. In this vital role, you will manage all aspects of the back of house operations, including staff management, inventory control (orders, invoices, stock management system), and compliance with health and safety regulations. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with strong leadership skills and a passion for culinary excellence.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage day-to-day back of house operations, ensuring a high standard of food quality and safety.
- Supervise Back of House Kitchen staff, including training, scheduling, and performance management.
- Oversee inventory management, ordering, and stock control to minimise waste and maximise efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain the highest hygiene standards.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to streamline processes and enhance productivity.
- Proven experience as a Back of House Manager or similar role in a high-volume kitchen environment (3+ years).
- Strong leadership and team management abilities, with a focus on training and developing staff.
- Comprehensive knowledge of food safety regulations and kitchen hygiene standards.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with the kitchen team.
- The legal right to work in the UK and availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Competitive Pay & Earning Potential: Β£37,500 indicative annual earnings (based on a 40-hour week or Β£18/hour).
- Hours & rota: full-time, 5 days, from 8am to 4pm, Monday to Friday. (Weekends off)
- Holiday: 28 days per year including public holidays (pro rata).
