At Town Bar, our vision is to create a welcoming space where guests can enjoy exceptionally-made drinks and wine in a laid-back, 'neighbourhood bar' atmosphere. We’re looking for a skilled Bartender with a good understanding of mixed drinks and round-building to join our growing team. In this role, you’ll craft quality drinks and uphold the high standards our bar is striving for. You’ll play an important part in maintaining a smooth, efficient, and enjoyable bar service for both guests and the team.

What You’ll Do

  • Quickly and precisely serve a wide range of cocktails, wines, beers, and spirits to the highest standards of flavour and quality consistency.
  • Demonstrate precise attention to detail in cocktail batching, making and garnishing.
  • Deliver exceptional guest service with warmth and professionalism.
  • Keep the bar neat, clean and fully stocked throughout service.
  • Collaborate with the bar team and Kevin Armstrong of Satan's Whiskers to bring creativity and consistency to the cocktail menu.
  • Follow all health, safety, and hygiene regulations to uphold a safe and welcoming environment.

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of experience in a cocktail bar or high-end restaurant environment.
  • Solid understanding of classic cocktails and spirits.
  • A genuine passion for drinks and delivering outstanding guest experiences.
  • A collaborative team spirit and a desire to improve.
  • The ability to thrive under pressure while maintaining a positive, professional attitude.
  • Eligibility to work in the UK, with flexibility to work evenings and weekends.

Benefits

  • Competitive Pay & Earning Potential: £15.50 – £16.50 per hour depending on experience, including a discretionary share of the service charge (tronc).
  • Hours & rota: full‑time, 4-5 day workweek including evenings and weekends; rotas shared in advance.
  • Holiday: 28 days per year, including public holidays (pro rata).
