A thrilling opportunity has arisen for a dynamic, highly experienced Event Sales Manager to join the team at Town Hall Spaces, a premium events space located in one of London’s most cutting-edge areas. Housed in the newly transformed Camden Town Hall, Town Hall by Bottaccio stands at the heart of the King’s Cross Knowledge Quarter, a district renowned for creativity, innovation, and networking. This iconic venue brings together visionaries and thought leaders in an environment where history meets modernity. Spread across three distinct spaces—Vision Hall, Inner Space, and The Network—the venue offers state-of-the-art AV technology, luxury catering, and beautifully designed surroundings, providing the perfect setting for unforgettable corporate and private events.
We are now seeking an energetic and results-driven Event Sales Manager to take the lead in building and growing our client base, driving revenue, and delivering exceptional event experiences.
Responsibilities- Enquiry Handling & Sales Support: Ensure all enquiries are responded to within the company’s standard response time to optimise client experience. Qualify leads effectively to identify sales opportunities and client requirements. Produce compelling, high-quality proposals aligned with brand and commercial objectives. Lead and manage site visits in line with site visit procedures and best practices. Proactively follow up on enquiries and proposals to drive enquiry-to-conversion success.
- Client Acquisition: Identify, target, and secure new business opportunities through proactive sales initiatives including networking, lead generation, and industry partnerships.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with both corporate and private clients, ensuring long-term partnerships and repeat business. Act as the main point of contact for clients throughout their event planning journey.
- Event Proposals & Contracts: Create tailored event proposals, pricing packages, and contracts that meet the needs of each client, showcasing the venue’s unique offerings and state-of-the-art AV infrastructure.
- Vendor and Partner Relations: Manage relationships with key partners and suppliers, including AV providers, catering services, and production teams to ensure high-quality event execution.
- Client Showcases & Venue Tours: Organise and lead client site visits and venue showcases, effectively communicating the venue’s features, capacities, and technological advantages.
- Sales Strategy: Assist building a comprehensive sales strategy to drive revenue growth, meet event sales targets, and maximise the use of all three event spaces.
- Financial Management: Oversee event pricing, prepare cost projections, and manage event budgets to ensure profitability and high client satisfaction.
- Proven Experience in Event Sales: A minimum of 5 years of experience in event sales, preferably in luxury venues, corporate events, or the hospitality industry.
- Strong Communication Skills: Ability to engage high-profile clients and articulate Vision Hall’s distinct advantages.
- Sales-Driven: Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. Comfortable with networking, negotiating, and closing high-value deals.
- Organisation and Project Management: Ability to manage multiple events simultaneously, overseeing the entire process from initial inquiry to final execution.
