We are seeking a highly organised and creative Senior Event Planner to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering exceptional events across our venue spaces. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with excellent organisational and communication skills, a passion for hospitality and events, and the ability to create memorable client and guest experiences. The Senior Event Planner is a key member of the operations team and integral to the planning and delivery of successful events whilst maintaining a high standard of customer service and compliance throughout.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support clients in the planning, coordination, and delivery of events from initial enquiry through to post-event evaluation.
  • Work closely with the sales team to ensure efficient and detailed client handover meetings take place in a timely manner.
  • Liaise with clients and the sales team to understand the clients' objectives, requirements, budget, and support in translating these into detailed event proposals.
  • Produce event schedules, function sheets, floor plans, and logistical documentation to ensure smooth execution.
  • As part of the operational team, work closely with sales, catering, and technical teams to ensure all elements of the event are delivered to the highest standard.
  • Offer general guidance and assistance to all team members on all matters arising.
  • Manage suppliers and contractors, including negotiating terms and overseeing their on-site work.
  • Management of booking event staffing based on event requirements with preferred venue suppliers i.e. security, cleaning, porters.
  • Conduct site visits and client meetings to review progress, confirm details, and build strong relationships.
  • Provide on-site event management and act as the key client contact throughout the planning phase and event delivery.
  • Ensure all health and safety, licensing, and compliance requirements are met.
  • Monitor budgets, track expenditure, and deliver events within agreed financial parameters.
  • Gather client feedback and prepare post-event reports to support continuous improvement.
  • Keep up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activity, and new event formats.
  • Ensure a continued and confident presence at internal communication meetings including; Weekly function sheet meetings, Weekly sales workshop meetings, Weekly internal operations meetings.
