Town Garage are seeking a candidate to join our team.

Summary

As an Experienced Vehicle Technician, you will be integral to our automotive service team, reporting directly to the Service Manager. Your role focuses on diagnosing and repairing light vehicles, ensuring they meet safety and performance standards. With core skills in mechanical knowledge and proficiency in hand and power tools, you will conduct maintenance and assembly tasks efficiently. Qualifications / Experience

  • Strong mechanical knowledge and expertise in vehicle maintenance and repair
  • Proficient in using hand tools and power tools for assembly and repairs
  • Experience with schematics for diagnosing vehicle issues
  • Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with clients
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting and equipment repair tasks
  • Familiarity with welding techniques is a plus
  • Certification as an MOT Tester is highly desirable
  • Minimum 5 Years Trade Experience
  • Tasks competency in servicing, brakes, timing belts, clutches and more
  • Advanced mechanical experience an advantage
  • Vehicle diagnostic
  • Own Tools Required
  • Perform automotive diagnostics to identify issues and determine necessary repairs.

Package

  • You will receive a salary between £31,200 - £35,000 per annum paid weekly.
  • You will receive breakfast bought each Friday.
  • Staff Uniform Provided.
  • 28 Days Annual Leave (inclusive of Bank Holidays)
  • Annual shut down - between Christmas and New Year.
  • 2 Free own vehicle MOT's per annum.
  • Monday - Friday
