The Role

As a Property Auction Valuer, you will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, carrying out property valuations, advising clients on the auction process, and securing instructions to bring properties to market. This is a highly rewarding role for a motivated property professional who enjoys meeting people, building relationships, and closing deals. The role combines office‑based lead management with field‑based valuation appointments across the North East and surrounding regions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Attend property valuation appointments generated through company leads, partner agents, referrals, and self‑generated business.
  • Provide professional auction advice to property owners.
  • Assess property suitability for auction and recommend pricing strategies.
  • Explain the auction process, fees, timelines, and benefits to prospective clients.
  • Negotiate and secure signed auction instructions.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with estate agents, solicitors, investors, probate professionals, insolvency practitioners, and other introducers.
  • Follow up valuations and nurture opportunities through to instruction.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and pipeline management.
  • Achieve and exceed monthly valuation and instruction targets.
  • Represent TCPA NE professionally within the property industry.

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous experience in estate agency, property sales, property valuations, auctions, and business development.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Commercially driven and target‑focused.
  • Confident presenting to clients face‑to‑face.
  • Self‑motivated with a proactive attitude.
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
  • Excellent organisational skills.

Desirable

  • Auction experience.
  • Existing network within the property industry.
  • Knowledge of investment property, buy‑to‑let, HMOs, development opportunities, probate, and distressed property sales.
  • Experience using CRM systems.
