Our VacancyWe have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Repairs Supervisor to join our team, leading a dedicated group of tradespeople and subcontractors delivering high-quality repairs and maintenance services across the Kent area. This is a hands‑on leadership role where you'll play a key part in ensuring our customers receive an outstanding service while supporting and developing a high-performing workforce.
Responsibilities
- Provide day‑to‑day leadership and support to a team of operatives, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.
- Monitor performance, carry out inspections, and support the management of materials and resources.
- Drive operational performance, maintain excellent health and safety standards, and ensure repairs are completed right the first time.
- Co‑coach and develop team members, identify training needs, manage employee relations matters, and promote a positive, safety‑first culture.
- Collaborate with schedulers and customer‑care colleagues to manage workloads, resolve issues, and improve service delivery.
- Perform pre‑inspections and work‑in‑progress checks, support complaint resolution and safeguarding responsibilities.
Qualifications
- Prior experience supervising trade operatives or maintenance teams.
- Strong understanding of building maintenance and repairs.
- Strong communication and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to manage performance, resolve issues, and maintain high standards of workmanship and safety.
- Comfortable using IT systems and mobile technology to monitor performance, manage workloads, and ensure accurate record keeping.
- Proactive approach, sound decision‑making skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
- Experience working within social housing and a relevant City & Guilds qualification is desirable but not essential.
- Positive, customer‑focused attitude, commitment to continuous improvement, and passion for developing and supporting a team.

Work Conditions
Full‑time permanent position, working on site 8am‑5pm Monday‑Friday. You will need a full driving licence for this role.
