We're looking for a skilled Carpenter Multi to join our responsive repairs and maintenance team. Working within Social Housing properties, you'll play a key role in delivering high-quality repairs and maintenance services that make a real difference to our residents. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who takes pride in their workmanship, enjoys a varied workload, and is committed to providing outstanding customer service.
What You'll Do
- Carry out a wide range of reactive repairs and maintenance tasks across occupied and void properties, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
- Take ownership of jobs from start to finish, aiming for a first-time fix wherever possible while working within agreed timescales and budgets.
- Work closely with colleagues and supervisors, identify when additional trades are required, accurately record job information using electronic systems, and maintain excellent relationships with residents and clients.
What You'll Need
- Hold an NVQ or recognised qualification in Carpentry and a full UK driving licence.
- Experience working within Social Housing is desirable, along with a strong understanding of health and safety practices.
- Reliable and self-motivated individual with excellent practical skills, a high degree of manual dexterity, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Comfortable working at height, on uneven ground, and within confined spaces when required.
