Role summary: To work with our TCH stakeholders to design, deliver and evaluate user training for IT applications delivered and supported by IT.

Role specific responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver IT training materials on a wide range of software applications (e.g., session plans, user guides, videos, and other interactive content).
  • Create impactful resources and update training manuals and handouts, such as user guides, manuals, and hints-and-tips tailored to our staff.
  • Support technology change initiatives through tailored training solutions as part of projects and development release cycle and ensuring usage of systems is optimised.
  • Maintain relevant business applications knowledge and associated business policies, processes, and procedures.
  • Analyse individual and group training needs by gathering information pertaining to work procedures, workflow, and reports, understanding job specific functions and tasks and working directly with users to support adoption, understand the effectiveness of applications and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Design, organise and effectively deliver training courses on IT applications to meet the needs of all staff, using technology and pre-developed learning assets (e-learning, recorded webinars, videos, user guides, etc.).
  • Monitor, evaluate and review the effectiveness and quality of training and learning programmes for continuous improvement.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to support the delivery of IT training services.
  • Collaborate with teams and individual stakeholders to enhance processes, identify skill gaps, and deliver innovative solutions.
  • Identify business process improvements and liaise with stakeholders to support delivery of business process improvements.
  • Operate as an effective member of the team, working within the agreed project delivery methodology.
  • Be the Subject Matter Expert for IT systems training, acting in an advisory and supporting capacity for business change projects and initiatives (e.g., training needs analysis, determining most appropriate training delivery methods, etc.).
  • Ensure effective communication across the business regarding system usage best practice, training courses and resources available.
  • Co-ordinate the administration of training courses, including diary management and database management.

Hours: 35 hours per week
