Function and Responsibilities
The Consumer Loan Processor works closely with the Consumer Loan Officers to ensure loan applications are complete. The Consumer Loan Processor will analyze the credit report, complete file maintenance, calculate ratios, collect all necessary documentation, cross sell additional products and services, and submit the loan to underwriting. Once approved, the Consumer Loan Processor will prepare and coordinate loan closing for the member. They manage a large volume of loans at various stages in this process. Offering first-class service is a top priority at Town & Country FCU.
Experience & Education
One to three years of similar or related work experience. High school education or GED.
Interpersonal Skills
Work involves much personal contact with others inside and/or outside the organization for the purpose of first-level conflict resolution, building relationships, and soliciting cooperation. Discussions involve a higher degree of confidentiality and discretion, requiring diplomacy and tact in communication. Accuracy, time management, organization skills, phone skills, and sales skills are beneficial.
