What You’ll Do

You’ll enjoy a varied role combining consultations and surgeries, managing patient care from start to finish, including some sole charge duties. This is your chance to make a real impact—building trusted relationships with both clients and their pets.

Our full-time vets typically work four full days per week, have a weekday off, and join a Saturday rota (1 in 4/5 Saturdays) with a day off in lieu. Best of all? No out-of-hours or bank holiday shifts—helping you maintain a healthy work-life harmony. Part-time options are also welcome for the right candidate.

We are a first-opinion, small animal practice with three fantastic locations, all equipped with ultrasound, digital X-ray, and in-house blood analyzers. Situated in Blackburn, with excellent transport links to Manchester, Liverpool, and beyond, you’ll find plenty to enjoy outside work—from local gyms and amenities to countryside walks and the beautiful Lake District within easy reach. Join a warm, welcoming team including 3 vets, a Clinical Director, 8 nurses, a VCA, 7 receptionists, and a Practice Manager. Many of our team have grown with us over the years, reflecting our culture of support and professional development.
